I have a MSc in Psychology from University of Coimbra and am currently pursuing a PhD degree at the Faculty of Psychology and Education Sciences at University of Porto, supported by a PhD Grant (2020.04987.BD), under the supervision of Professor Selene Vicente and Professor Marisa Filipe. My research focuses on executive functions and Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), even though my research and clinical interests extend to other neurodevelopmental disorders (e.g. autism spectrum disorders) and intervention modalities (e.g., mindfulness). Within the scope of my PhD project, I have developed an executive function intervention program targeting domains of impairment often found in children with ADHD. I published five articles in international journals of reference, such as Frontiers in Psychology and Reading and Writing. Considering the significance of knowledge dissemination, I participated in several national and international meetings and conferences, having punctually collaborated in MA seminars and other lecturing events (e.g., webinars, workshops). I have worked with teams of two funded research projects (Portuguese Foundation for Science and Technology; FCT). I hold clinical experience within the field of neuropsychological assessment and intervention with children, adolescents, and adults with neurodevelopmental disorders and other clinical presentations (e.g., ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorders, Specific Learning Disorder, Epilepsy, Traumatic Brain Injury, and Cerebral Vascular Accident).
