Ricardo Isaías is a PhD student in Food Science, Technology and Nutrition, program in cooperation between the University of Minho and University of Porto. ENEBIOQ featured a wide variety of national and international speakers in the food, clinical and environmental areas of biochemistry, as well as final round tables. There was also room for workshops, and I took part in the one entitled "High Pressure", in which Professor Jorge Saraiva presented the essentials of food processing using high hydrostatic pressures.
