Hossam Abdelwahab. Completed the Bachelor in naval architecture and marine engineering in 2010/05 by Alexandria University Faculty of Engineering. He obtained a Master of Science degree in 2015 in naval architecture and marine engineering from Alexandria University Faculty of Engineering, He obtained recognition for his foreign degree from Instituto Superior Técnico, University of Lisbon in Portugal. Holds 6 years of work experience as an assistant lecturer at Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering Department, Faculty of Engineering Alexandria University, Egypt. Hossam is a research assistant at Centro e Engenharia e Tecnologia Naval e Oceanica (CENTEC), Instituto Superior Técnico, Portugal since November 2016. Possesses a combination of theoretical knowledge and eagerness to apply and develop technical and non-technical skills to promote engineering excellence at the same time advance in career. Currently, Hossam has a PhD scholarship funded by the Portuguese Foundation of Science and Technology (FCT) under contract 2020.06969.BD to study a PhD in Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering at Instituto Superior Técnico, University of Lisbon in Portugal. Hossam has experience in experimental model-ling for ships moored in waves and passing ship effects on moored ships in shallow water. Published 2 articles in journals. Has 3 section(s) of books.
