She has been a invited assistant professor of French language since 2014. She has a PhD in Comparative Literature from the Faculty of Letters of Bourgogne (Dijon - France) (2006), with a thesis entitled "Renouvellement du portrait littéraire dans le roman de la première moitié du XIXe siècle: l'exemple de Garett et de Hugo". She holds a Master's degree in Applied Languages and Translation - specialising in the Professional Branch - from the University of Évora (2013), with a thesis entitled "Traduzir a gastronomia: análise das ementas da corte portuguesa, do final do século XIX até à implantação da República", and became a professional translator. She is a researcher at the CECC Centre for Communication and Culture Studies. She is a member of the permanent lecture committee of the journal Synergies - Portugal, published by Le Gerflint. Since 2017, she has been involved in several pedagogical projects with the University of Montpellier (France). Her main areas of research are ongoing pedagogical projects, translation, literature (French, Portuguese, African...). She has written several articles on these areas of research. She also holds the DELF and DALF examiner/corrector qualification from CIEP (now France Education International).
