I hold a degree in Aquatic Sciences in 2013, a MSc in Marine Sciences - Marine Resources, specialization in Aquaculture and Fisheries in 2015 and obtained my PhD in Animal Science, specialization in Nutrition in 2021, both from the Institute of Biomedical Sciences Abel Salazar, University of Porto (ICBAS-UP). I had the opportunity to work at the Daily Day clothing store, Chapelaria Centro da Moda and at the WRC Rally de Portugal, which were crucial to the development of my team spirit, as well as to improve my communication and organization skills both with employees of my team and the final consumer. Meanwhile, I completed a postgraduation at Porto Business School, which gave me a deeper knowledge regarding the management control and performance evaluation of a company. I have finished my PhD in an industrial setting in 2021 (Sense Test, Lda - sensory analysis company) focused in sea urchin sensory analysis and nutrition. The focus of my study was to understand the consumer’s perception towards this product, to enhance a diet capable to improve the sea urchin gonad size and quality. Moreover, I was invited to be a member of the accompaniment committee of the doctoral programme, as well as to incorporate the mentoring program of ICBAS-UP. I was the lead member of the organization committee of the Animal Science Doctoral Programme - VI and VII Workshop (ICBAS-UP). Additionally, I had the opportunity to teach classes regarding the sea urchin nutrition and yield in ICBAS-UP. This journey allowed me to incorporate different multidisciplinary teams and to have access to innovative educational, scientific and cultural knowledge that reinforced my organizational capacity, as well as my skills in interpersonal relationships, people and time management, which will be an asset to provide a dynamic, efficient and energetic work environment. I am currently the Quality Manager at Sense Test, Lda, a professional pathway that allowed me to embody a deep knowledge regarding several methods and methodologies implementation, following the ISO 9001, ISO 17025, ISO 8586 and ISO 11136. I had the opportunity to participate in the ISO 9001 certification process and to implement the ISO 17025 requirements.
