Raquel Rodrigues holds a PhD in Educational Sciences. She is currently a PhD Researcher at the Centre for Philosophical and Humanistic Studies (CEFH), of the Faculty of Philosophy and Social Sciences, of the Portuguese Catholic University of Braga, within the project "TESTEd Towards a European Syllabus in Teacher Education – Facing future challenges together". She is author and co-author of scientific papers and book chapter about school dropout; academic success; academic pathways; inclusive education and inclusive socio-educational practices; metaphors; higher education; pedagogy; accessibility; education; diversity; citizenship; and continuing education. Has different teaching experiences, namely, in co-teaching disciplines on gender-based prevention, gender, education and gender-based prevention, contemporary violence and contexts, agents and intervention in gender violence. Her research interests currently focus on social and educational inequalities; human rights; gender-based violence and its prevention; education and socio-community intervention; teachers training and teachers practices; inclusive curriculum and social pedagogy.
