Sónia Rocha is a Postdoc Researcher at Dantas Lab at i3S (Instituto de Investigação e Inovação em Saúde). She recently completed her PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences in the field of Medicinal and Pharmaceutical Chemistry at the Faculty of Pharmacy of the University of Porto in 2024, as part of the PhD Programme in Medicines and Pharmaceutical Innovation. Prior to this, she obtained her Master's degree in Quality Control, specializing in Medicines and Medicinal Plants, also from the Faculty of Pharmacy of the University of Porto, where she graduated in 2018. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Biology from the University of Aveiro in 2016. In terms of scientific contributions, her research has resulted in 12 articles published in indexed international journals. Additionally, she has authored 1 book chapter and 1 commentary. Her h-index is 8 (Google Scholar) and she has 440+ citations. She is the author or co-author of 10 oral presentations and 17 posters presented at national and international conferences.
