João Ricardo Araújo completed his PhD in Metabolism - Clinical and Experimentation on 12/18/2013 on the University of Porto, Faculty of Medicine, and the Bachelor in Nutrition Sciences on 09/19/2007 on the University of Porto, Faculty of Nutrition and Food Sciences. He is an Invited Assistant Professor at Universidade Nova de Lisboa, Faculty of Medical Sciences. He published 41 articles in specialized journals and wrote 3 book chapters. He supervised 2 master's thesis. He has received four awards. Participated as PhD Fellow in 1 project, as a Resarch Fellow in 2 projects, and as Postdoctoral Fellow in 1 project. He works in the areas of Biological Sciences with emphasis on Microbiology, Cell Biology, and Pharmacology.
