CARLA MANUELA AMARELO DOS SANTOS. Completed her PhD in Environmental Engineering on 05/29/2014 from the Instituto Superior Técnico University of Lisbon, holds the Master degree in Food Science and Technology on 07/29/1997 from the University of Lisbon and the Degree in Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology branch in 27/11/1994 by Instituto Superior Técnico University of Lisbon. She is a Guest Adjunct Professor at the Polytechnic Institute of Setúbal. She has published 8 articles in specialized journals, and she has 3 book chapters. She organized 4 events. She received 2 awards. She participated as a PhD Fellow in 1 project, Research Fellow in 1 project and researcher in 4 projects. Currently, she is Principal Investigator on 2 projects. She works in the areas of Engineering Sciences and Technologies with an emphasis on Environmental Engineering, Agricultural and Food Biotechnology, and Environmental Biotechnology.
