PhD in Pharmacy with emphasis in Toxicology, with a thesis entitled “Thioredoxin Reductase Inhibitors in anticancer therapy: Thimerosal Efficacy in Glioblastoma”. Researcher Fellow at NANOPLASTOX, a project that elucidates the mechanisms underlying an inflammatory response of intestinal cells to nanoplastics and the link to genotoxicity and evaluates the interaction of nanoplastics with environmental carcinogens. Researcher Fellow at the "PAHMIX - Mixtures of Environmental Carcinogens: a molecular approach to improve environmental risk assessment strategies" project at Faculty of Sciences and Technology - University Nova of Lisbon. Former integrant at the Cellular Toxicity Mechanisms Group of Research at Unioeste. Pharmacist graduated at the Pharmacy Course of State University of Western Paraná - Unioeste (Brazil), with diploma recognized by a Portuguese institution . During graduation developed activities in Basic Chemistry, Parasitology and Clinical Toxicology. Good command of laboratory techniques, Cell culture, Cell viability assays, Biomolecular techniques (Protein determination, Western blot, protein activity, protein expression, RT-PCR). Experience working with Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy - mainly graphite furnace. Experience working and manipulating animals, rats and mices (Course habilitation acquired in Brazil).
