David Suter is currently a Swiss National Science Foundation Professor and Tenure Track Assistant Professor at the EPFL (École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne). Research at the Suter lab is focused on understanding how temporal fluctuations in gene expression and the interplay between transcription factors and the cell cycle impact cell fate decisions. To tackle these problems, the Suter team has developed quantitative approaches to characterize in individual cells the dynamics of gene expression and interaction of transcription factors with chromatin, based on genome-editing and diverse imaging methods.
