Paulo Almeida – Full Professor at the Polytechnic of Leiria, PhD in Marketing and International Trade, from the University of Extremadura, Spain. Master in Tourism Management and Development, from the University of Aveiro. Graduated in Hotel Management, from the University of Algarve. He was Dean of the Higher School of Tourism and Maritime Technology (ESTM) 2014-2022. He was an effective member of the IPL Academic Council, an effective member of the ESTM Technical-Scientific Council. present is a National Director CiTUR-Research Center in Tourism, being Executive Editor of the EJTHR-European Journal of Tourism, Hospitality and Recreation. As a researcher he has published some works and articles in the area of Tourism Marketing, Tourism Management, Tourist Entertainment and the Image of Tourist Destinations, seeking to understand the issues integrated in the development and promotion of tourist destinations. As a teacher he teaches and has supervised several PhD theses and dissertations in the Master's in Hotel Management and Management and in the Master's in Marketing and Tourism Promotion and partipate in several academic juries.
