I am a Researcher at the Institute for Nanostructure Nanomodelling and Nanofabrication (i3N) at the University of Aveiro, focusing on the development of new Optical Fiber Sensors. I apply my prior knowledge in Materials Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry and Biochemistry. I hold a PhD in Chemistry/Analytical Chemistry (2021), an MSc in Applied Biochemistry (2014), and a BSc in Biochemistry (2011). I have expertise in the development, functionalization, and characterization of Optical Fiber Sensors, as well as in Chromatographic techniques (GC-MS, LC-MS, and HPLC-DAD/FLD/RI), Spectrometry (MS), and Spectroscopy (UV/Vis and FLD). Additionally, my experience includes the development of diferent Analytical Methods, combining knowledge of Materials Science with Extraction techniques, optimized through Advanced Statistical approaches.
