Pedro Trindade received the Licenciatura and Mestrado degrees in Aerospace Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico (IST), Universidade de Lisboa, in 2017 and 2019, respectively. From 2016 to 2019, he was an active member of the Aerospace Engineering Student Association (AeroTéc), where he held two management positions, in 2017/2018 as Vice-President and in 2018/2019 as Projects Manager (Board Member). There, he participated in numerous projects, one of which for an international engineering competition. He also took part in the organization of events and was an instructor in workshops and short courses from the Association. During his studies, he was awarded the Certificate of Academic Merit (2015–2018) and the Certificate of Academic Excellence in 2019. His M.Sc. thesis earned the “Best SPR M.Sc. Thesis - 2020” prize from the Portuguese Society of Robotics and the “Outstanding M.Sc. Thesis Award” from the IEEE Portugal Section. Since 2018, Pedro Trindade has been a member of the Institute for Systems and Robotics - Lisbon, Instituto Superior Técnico (ISR/IST). He is currently pursuing a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the Instituto Superior Técnico (IST). His research interests include aerial robotics, systems and control, and multi-vehicle systems.
