Yuxin Ge recently completed her PhD in Linguistics in 2024 at Lancaster University, UK. She obtained her Master's degree in Applied Linguistics and Second Language Acquisition in 2021 from the University of Oxford (UK) and her Bachelor's degree in Linguistics in 2019 from the University College London (UK). Currently, she is a team member of the ProPerL2 research project at Universidade Nova de Lisboa (https://properl2.fcsh.unl.pt/). Her research has focused on adults' acquisition of second language phonology and vocabulary, and the individual differences in the learning process.

2023/07/13 - 2023/07/14 L2 Portuguese @Lancaster is an international conference focusing on Portuguese as an additional language (L2, L3, L4, Ln). We aim to bring together researchers and students from a variety of disciplines (linguistics, cognitive psychology, education, neuroscience, etc.) who share an interest in the acquisition, processing or teaching of L2 Portuguese across the lifespan and in a variety of settings (in the classroom and in the wild, face to face and in digital environments).
