Ema Patrícia de Lima Oliveira obtained her PhD in Psychology, specialising in Educational Psychology, in 2007 from the University of Minho, where she had previously completed her undergraduate degree in Psychology with the same specialisation in 1999. She is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychology and Education at the University of Beira Interior and a researcher at the Center for Research in Education and Psychology (CIEP, University of Évora). She was a founding member and served as President of the National Association for the Study and Intervention in Giftedness (ANEIS), and was also a member of the General Committee of the European Council for High Ability (ECHA). Her work includes the publication of peer-reviewed journal articles, books, and book chapters, focusing on topics such as well-being and positive psychological functioning, creativity, gifted education, expertise, inclusive education, and students’ adaptation to higher education.
