Dr. Bai-Qiao CHEN is currently Invited Assistant Professor in Universidade de Lisboa - Instituto Superior Técnico (IST). He completed his Doctor degree in 2418/ISTCD/16 in 2016/07 by Universidade de Lisboa - Instituto Superior Técnico and his Master's degree in 6799/ISTCM/12 in 2011 by the same university. He has published 27 articles in journals and has 20 book chapters and conference papers. Has received 2 awards and/or honours. He has reviewed more than 100 papers for journals such as Marine Structures, Ocean Engineering, Thin-Walled Structures, etc. He has an h-index of 15 (source: google scholars) and 598 citations (449 citations in recent 5 years). He is also a member of the International Ship and Offshore Structures Congress (ISSC) Specialist Committee since 2018. He gives courses (master level) on Ocean Platforms and Subsea Production Systems in IST since 2017. He works also as a supervisor of master dissertations in offshore engineering and related areas.
