Diogo Gomes-Silva completed his PhD in Bioengineering- Cell Therapy and Regenerative Medicine in 2018 by Universidade de Lisboa, Instituto Superior Técnico, Master in Biomedical Research by Universidade de Coimbra, Faculdade de Medicina and Licenciatura (Bachelor) in Genetics and Biotechnology by Universidade de Trás-os-Montes e Alto Douro. During his PhD program he received extensive training in CAR T cell therapies at the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. In the last years his work has consisted in preclinical validation of genetically modified T cells as therapy for different hematologic tumors with published articles in scientific journals on this subject. He is now developing new CAR T cell therapies at Instituto de Medicina Molecular (iMM) João Lobo Antunes
