Liliana Santos holds an MSc in Molecular Oncology from the Abel Salazar Biomedical Sciences Institute of the University of Porto and a PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the Faculty of Pharmacy of the University of Coimbra. Her doctoral research focused on elucidating the mechanisms behind the formation of brain metastases in breast cancer in order to identify molecular targets for diagnosis and treatment.
